The oracle, her hoary visage draped in mystery, beckoned me closer. As the cards spread across the ancient oak table, her whispered words seemed to penetrate my very core. "Pick four," she murmured, her voice resonating with an otherworldly depth. I made my selection, and she turned the cards, revealing their enigmatic symbols. Bathed in candlelight, her face contorted into a broken, eerie expression, but it transformed into something ethereal upon witnessing the tarot's secrets. Then, a voice emerged from the darkness, proclaiming, "Snake Oil & Lullabies"...
The Caravan embarked on its mystical journey in 2019, originating from the quaint town of Livadia, Greece. This enigmatic collective delves into the realms of Dark Country music, having previously released the LP "Nostrum Remedium" in 2020, as well as a collaborative single with Sexpyr titled "The Sheriff's Judge" in 2021. They have captivated audiences with their ethereal stories through live performances. Now, in 2023, the EP "Snake Oil & Lullabies" has been meticulously crafted and unleashed upon the world. The Caravan consists of Akis Kosmidis (vocals, acoustic guitar, banjo - composition), Valantis Dafkos (vocals, bass - lyrics), Panos Makoulis (electric, slide, acoustic guitars, keys, vocals, percussion - orchestration), Eleni Paraskevopoulou (vocals), Stefanos Strogylis (harmonica), and Thanos Giamarelos (violin).
