Turanis Unleashes a Dance of Mists with an All-Star Lineup
If you’re a fan of dark, atmospheric and melodic metal, you’re in for a treat. Turanis, the solo project of guitarist Wayne Bridge, has just released a new single called “Dance of Mists”, featuring some of the most iconic names in the genre.

The song is a haunting and epic journey through the realms of sorrow and beauty, with a stunning contrast between the clean and harsh vocals of Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride) and Simon Gordon (Kill II This). The music is rich and layered, with the keyboards of Stace Rose adding a touch of gothic elegance, the bass of Mark Mynett providing a solid foundation, and the lead guitar of Richard Shaw (ex-Cradle of Filth) delivering some wicked solos. The drums are handled by none other than Dan Mullins, who also plays for My Dying Bride and has worked with bands like Bal-Sagoth and Thine.

The single is produced, mixed and mastered by Mark Mynett, who also runs Mynetaur Productions, a studio specialized in metal music. Mynett has worked with bands like Kill II This, Sikth, Napalm Death, Paradise Lost and many more. He also wrote the lyrics for the song, along with Gordon.

The artwork for the single is created by Lucian Black, a talented artist who has done covers for bands like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth and more. The cover depicts a mysterious figure in a misty forest, surrounded by ravens and skulls.

“Dance of Mists” is the first taste of Turanis’ upcoming album, which will feature more guest appearances from the metal scene. The album will be released later this year on Bandcamp, where you can also find Turanis’ self-titled debut album from 2020.

If you’re looking for some quality goth metal with a stellar cast of musicians, don’t miss this single. You can stream it on Bandcamp or follow Turanis on Facebook for more updates. Trust us, you won’t regret it. This is a dance you don’t want to miss.
