Formed in the mid-2010s by the formidable bass player and vocalist Chris Chalmers, Truth to Power started as a one-man metal storm, with Chris taking on all instruments and delivering a bone-crushing sound that shook the very core of the earth. But that wasn't enough for this metal machine; they needed to take it to the next level!
In 2021, Chris joined forces with the talented Kellan Scalf and Codye Satterwhite at The Maelstrom Studio to create the monstrous EP "Claim Your Freedom." The world wasn't ready for the ferocity that awaited them.
With singles that hit like a ton of bricks and lead guitar work that would make Dimebag Darrell proud, Truth to Power quickly caught the attention of the legendary Butch Cunningham. And when Butch comes knocking, you know it's time to turn the metal dial to eleven!
Butch Cunningham joined the ranks, taking command of the drums while Gabe Sweeney and Jonathan Lovall seized their guitars with a fury matched only by the fires of hell. The band's lineup was complete, and the world was not prepared for the metal onslaught that would soon be unleashed!
Since then, Truth to Power has been crafting new sonic assaults and preparing to conquer the metal realm with a full-length album and an epic tour in 2023. Brace yourselves, metal fans, because the storm is coming, and it will be thunderous!
