Necronomicon Ex Mortis - "My Bloody Valentine"

What's New:

Necronomicon Ex Mortis Unleashes Lovecraftian Shred in "My Bloody Valentine" - A Metal Love Story!

In the dark corners of Chicago's metal scene, a band born out of a love affair with classic death metal, 80s shred, and B-horror movie gore has emerged. Necronomicon Ex Mortis, the brainchild of guitarist Michael Nystrom Bala, has been tearing through the underground with not one but two EPs released in 2023 - "Self-Titled" (March 2023) and "Silver Bullet" (August 2023). With around 69 songs ready to melt your face, they're not just terrifying; they're tantalizing.

Their latest creation, "My Bloody Valentine", pays homage to the gory glory days of slashers, early death metal, and face-melting solos. It's a head-banging, neck-twisting, chest-eviscerating tribute that brings you back to the raw essence of the genre.

Check out the blood-soaked video for "My Bloody Valentine" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d7KVqNypuw and brace yourself for a whirlwind of riffs and a tsunami of screams.

Necronomicon Ex Mortis wasn't conjured from thin air. Michael Nystrom Bala, the mastermind behind the madness, roped in guitarist Manuel Barbará and bassist Yusuf Rashid from The Apocalyptic Sandwich of Doom. The Berklee Bros, Craig Schmuhl on vocals and Joey Ferretti on drums, completed the unholy pact. Rumor has it they joined to combat the devil's music, and we're all here for it.

Two EPs down, the quintet is cooking up a storm for their third release. If you thought the first two were wild, just wait for what's coming. Expect mind-bending guitar wizardry, a fusion of old-school metal with a modern twist, and a sprinkle of campy dark humor that might make you sleep with the lights on!

From the first riff to the last scream, Necronomicon Ex Mortis's "My Bloody Valentine" is a head-spinner and heart-pounder. It's not just a love letter to classic death metal; it's a full-throttle declaration of passion for the macabre. Having devoured both the "Self-Titled" and "Silver Bullet" EPs, I can confidently say these guys are weaving a horror-metal saga that's both blood-curdling and addictive. The anticipation for their third release is coursing through my veins like adrenaline at a metal show. Get ready, metalheads, because Necronomicon Ex Mortis is on a dark journey, and we're all invited to the madness. \m/
