Get ready to relive the glory days of skate-punk with THE MISFIRES' long-awaited album "are Dead, long Live The Misfires", out now! This high-energy, adrenaline-fueled album is the final testament to the band's legacy, a love letter to the 90's skatepunk sound, and a step forward in modern punk.
Formed in Edmonton, Alberta, THE MISFIRES quickly gained a following with their dynamic stage shows and high-profile shows opening for Face to Face and Authority Zero. Their debut album "Songs about Stuff" is highly regarded in the punk community.
After disbanding in 2016 due to internal strife, the band had completed tracks for this album, which is now finally out. "I didn't want this to sit unfinished on a hard drive forever", says Barrett Klesko, the driving force behind THE MISFIRES. "Though the band didn't survive, we made an incredible album that is both a love letter to the skatepunk sound of the 90s and a step forward in modern punk".
The album features 11 tracks, including the music video for "Poultry in Motion" - a scathing social commentary that will leave you questioning the status quo.

I'm not typically into skate-punk, but THE MISFIRES' energy is infectious. This album is a must-listen for fans of the genre, and even those who aren't typically into skate-punk will find themselves nodding along to the catchy riffs and witty lyrics. The Misfires may be gone, but their legacy lives on through this album.
