Metalheads, it's been a few months since Under The Shadows dropped their debut EP on January 25th, 2024, and let me tell you, the reverberations are still echoing through the metal community. This powerhouse of talent, led by Elias Negrin of Julian's Lullaby fame, along with Aris Negrin on drums, Eric Castiglia on vocals, and Dimitris Koskinas on lead guitars, has firmly planted their flag in the fertile soil of the underground scene.
Their four-track EP, infused with the dark and evocative lyrics of Anna Spanogiorgou, hit like a sledgehammer to the senses, leaving listeners reeling and hungry for more. From the blistering intensity of the opening track to the haunting melodies of the closing number, Under The Shadows showcased a level of musicianship and creativity rarely seen in debut releases.
So, if you haven't already jumped on the Under The Shadows bandwagon, now's the time to do so. And to Elias, Aris, Eric, and Dimitris, I say this: keep doing what you're doing, because the metal world is better for it.
