SIRIUS Unleashes Debut Album "A Quest for Life" – A Heavy Metal Odyssey

Alright metalheads, get ready to have your faces melted! Greek heavy/power metal warriors Sirius have just dropped their debut album, "A Quest for Life" and it's out now via Wormholedeath Records. If you’re looking for an album that packs a punch and takes you on a wild ride through the realms of metal, this is it.
"A Quest for Life" is a rollercoaster of epic proportions. Picture this: catchy choruses that stick in your head for days, Dimitris Napas belting out vocals that soar higher than a dragon in flight, and a twin-guitar assault by Napas and Stathopoulos that’s more relentless than a caffeine-fueled drummer at 3 AM. These guys have it all. The rhythm section, with Simiakos on bass and Samios on drums, is the solid steel backbone that keeps this beast charging forward.
Hold onto your battle vests, because Sirius isn’t coming alone. They’ve brought in metal legends Tim "Ripper" Owens (KK's Priest, ex-Judas Priest, ex-Iced Earth) and Derek Sherinian (Black Country Communion, ex-Dream Theater) to lend their talents to the album. Owens’s vocal prowess on "Unbound the Scream" and Sherinian’s keyboard wizardry on "Land of Swords" add an extra layer of awesomeness that’ll blow your mind.
This isn’t just a collection of killer tracks; "A Quest for Life" dives deep into the human experience. Themes of self-discovery, tough choices, and facing consequences are woven throughout the album. Songs like "Among the Heavens" tackle personal struggles, while "Desdichado" (inspired by Sir Walter Scott's "Ivanhoe") takes you on a historical journey of redemption. Each track hits hard with emotional depth and honesty that you can feel in your bones.
Formed in 2007 by guitarist/singer Dimitris Napas in Athens, Greece, Sirius has been honing their craft for years. Their debut EP, "Wings of Fire", dropped in 2017 and set the stage for what was to come. They’ve since released an acoustic version of "The Last Angel" and even opened for Luke Appleton of Iced Earth. Now, they’re back and better than ever with "A Quest for Life".
Recorded at Made in Hell studio with David Prudent handling recording, mixing, and mastering, this album is a polished masterpiece with a raw edge. The artwork by Jon Toussas and Graphic no Jutsu captures the epic feel perfectly.
