Get ready to have your eardrums obliterated! The Australian heavy metal powerhouse, Decimator, has just signed with Wormholedeath Records, setting the stage for their bone-crushing new album, 'Til The Enemies Are Gone, which is set to drop like a bomb on October 4th, 2024.

Formed in the fiery pits of South/West Sydney, Australia, Decimator came to life in January 2021, birthed by the shared passion of Lance Holland-Keen and Mike Le Macchia for thrash and old-school metal. Despite the world being in chaos with COVID lockdowns and navigating the ever-changing tides of lineup shifts, these guys didn’t miss a beat. They finally stormed the stage in September 2022, with Lance shredding on guitar and roaring into the mic, Mike delivering blistering riffs, Bon Lowe smashing the drums, and John Montibeler holding down the low end on bass.

But the ride wasn't all smooth. Shortly after their debut, John faced a medical hurdle, leading to a temporary lineup change with Kim Ross stepping in, before Coen Winchester took over the bass duties like a champ, mastering the setlist in just a month. By October and November 2022, the quartet of Lance, Mike, Bon, and Coen was tearing it up live. But just when things seemed settled, December saw Ethan Reeves stepping in to replace Mike on guitar, adding a fresh twist to the lineup.

Fast forward to September 2023, and these metal warriors laid down their tracks for 'Til The Enemies Are Gone at Powell Lane Studios, Coogee, NSW, Australia. Nine tracks were hammered out in a single day – a testament to their raw, unfiltered energy. Initially, the plan was to drop "Warriors" as their debut single back in 2022, but the band had other ideas, choosing to unleash "Killdozer" in 2024 instead, a track born from a lineup that had barely shared the stage together.

With a gritty DIY approach that echoes the spirit of old-school metal, Decimator’s latest work dives deep into the murky waters of human emotion, suffering, mental health, loss, and even touches on historical and contemporary events, all penned by Lance with a razor-sharp edge.

And they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Come July, the band’s hitting the studio again for a double single, featuring a re-recorded version of "Warriors" and another early gem. They’ve also got plans to record a whole new album in late 2024 or early 2025, aiming for an early 2025 release, showcasing the full might of their current four-piece lineup.

As for the narrative? It’s a heavy one – inspired by the infamous Marvin Heemeyer "Killdozer" incident in Granby. The story has echoed through various musical tributes, but this one? It’s all Decimator’s own, and they’re not holding back.
