Back in 2019, in Saarbrücken, Germany, the dynamic duo of Knud Kriesamer (handling Guitars and Vocals) and Thomas Köppen (beating the Drums) birthed the monster that is King Annoyer. They were so stoked by their initial tracks that they threw down at the Eastside Metal Attack at Devil's Place in Saarbrücken that same year.
Fast forward to the future, in 2023, when they decided to give five of their babies a makeover, lay them down in the studio like pros, and drop them on the world as an EP. The fruit of their labor is none other than "Confessions Of A Sceptic", was released in September 2024.
"Confessions of a Sceptic" strikes that perfect balance between crushing heaviness and raw, emotional power. You can feel the weight of each note, like an iron hammer coming down, and yet there’s this almost eerie, melodic quality that creeps in and haunts you long after the music stops. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be caught in the middle of a sonic storm, this EP is your answer.
Rock on, King Annoyer!
