Featuring three killer tracks that’ll knock your socks off, the EP is produced by none other than Kevin Jardine from Slaves On Dope. Get ready for an all-out audio assault! We’re talking heavy riffs, soaring vocals from Brazilian wonder Mischa M., and an eclectic mix of talent hailing from various corners of the globe. Cristian S., a first-generation Chilean Canadian, and his bandmates—Carlos G. from Venezuela and Alex S. from Russia—have all found a home in Montreal, creating what they proudly call ‘Aggro Metal.’ Imagine a brutal mashup of grindcore, Swedish death metal, and thrash, all slammed together with hardcore punk—this is what you’ve been craving!
Cristian S. shared some thoughts on their evolution: “We started with grindcore, shifted through hardcore, and now here we are with Aggro Metal. It was crucial to grow this way, influenced by early members who steered the sound away from our original vision. But here we are, finally making the sound we’ve intended for years. This version of CHÜZO is the ultimate evolution—mark III is where it’s at!”
The lyrics on this EP are all about self-reflection and dealing with life’s daily grind. Drawing from their personal experiences—especially the tough ones—they transform that bad energy into something positive. The themes revolve around vengeance and the darker aspects of obsessing over revenge, all while contemplating life and sanity. Talk about a brutal take on social justice, right?

Guitarist Cristian S. said, “This track came together in parts—first with Carlos (on drums) and me laying down the guitar work. It’s a nod to Swedish Death Metal for sure! Once we had the structure, Mischa and I collaborated on the lyrics, aiming to capture that universal drive for revenge. But hey, we also believe it’s about finding balance and not getting lost in that obsession. Super relatable stuff!”
