Y’all ever had a song hit you like a rogue tornado in a trailer park? Meet Abolishment of Flesh, Texas’ answer to the question, “What if the apocalypse had a soundtrack?” Fresh off their Resurrecting Misanthropy EP, these Panhandle punishers just unleashed the music video for “Disavowed”—a four-minute sucker punch of despair that’ll make your therapist weep. Premiered on No Clean Singing, this ain’t your daddy’s death metal. Nah, it’s more like a rusty scalpel slicing through societal delusions.
 
Frontman Ramon Cazares (guitars, bass, drums, vocals—yes, all of it) spills the tea: “This track’s the grumpy older sibling of ‘Hater of Man.’ Imagine a future where humanity’s so rotten, even Netflix cancels us. The protagonist? A bitter, broken soul waiting for death like it’s a Black Friday sale.” Cheery stuff, right? But hey, who needs sunshine when you’ve got riffs that could level a Walmart?
 
The band—a.k.a. the four horsemen of the Texan apocalypse (Izaak Chavez on guitar, Jake Lahniers slapping bass, and Adrian Galindo smashing drums)—melds death metal’s brutality with blackened shrieks, thrashy grooves, and enough melodic twists to give you whiplash. “Disavowed” isn’t just a song; it’s a middle finger to hope, wrapped in a barbed-wire bow. Think Deicide meets Amon Amarth in a bar fight, with Sepultura refereeing.
 
The world’s a dumpster fire, and Abolishment of Flesh is here to roast marshmallows over it. Their Resurrecting Misanthropy EP isn’t just music—it’s a cathartic scream into the void. “Disavowed” slithers into your ears with sinister chants, guitar solos that sound like nails on a chalkboard (in the best way), and vocals so raw, they’ll make your dog hide under the couch.
