The Finnish progressive death/post-metal squad, Ashes In The Fall, is ready to set the metal scene ablaze with their debut EP, «Where Serenity Prevails», hitting the airwaves on March 21, 2025, thanks to Inverse Records. Here’s what the band has to say about it: “Dusk of Mankind is like a little appetizer of what’s to come on our EP. This track weaves together smooth acoustic sections and soaring clean vocals, then flips the script with some brutal distorted bits and harsh vocals. Oh, and let’s not overlook those polyphonic harmonies and those jazzy influences sneaking in there. It’s all about painting that grim picture of Earth reclaiming its vibe after humanity has done its thing.”
Influences galore—if you love sounds reminiscent of Opeth and Alcest, or just dig the whole progressive death metal and post-metal thing, you’re in for a treat. They proudly embrace a raw and unfiltered production style, recording, mixing, and mastering it all themselves.

After some time in the shadows, they’re finally revving up, and with "Where Serenity Prevails" sprinting toward us, they’re also gearing up for a flurry of live performances.
