What's New: Atrox Trauma

Emptiness (Official Music Video) | ATROX TRAUMA

Hold onto your hats, because Hungary’s unstoppable thrash-death machine, ATROX TRAUMA, has just unleashed the cinematic music video for their latest song, “Emptiness.” WHERE DEATH HUNTS is the highly awaited sequel of their first album, whichwill release on 17th of April 2025 under WORMHOLEDEATH RECORDS.

In “Emptiness,” the band sends us on a bloody but evocative journey through the topics of isolation, sadness and the all-too-fallible wish for connection.

Their sound? Think brutish and brutal — the busheling sonic blitzkrieg that dares thrash and death metal to push farther still. It’s all about ‘exposing those psychological burdens we are subjected to each day in the name of trying to make sense of the yawning maw that is life.’” The band puts it bluntly: “Hollowness welcomed indoors. This emptiness swallowed by. Fulfilling that emptiness. To discover myself in you… This is the answer. This is the Way Out.” They encapsulate that feeling of being lost, of surrendering, but also the flicker of hope that there’s a way out.

Directed and edited by András Székely, the music video is a visual delight, while Where Death Hunts » was tracked, mixed, and mastered by István Simon at No Silence Studio in Hungary.

Formed in 2008 ATROX TRAUMA have not been holding back and have been pummelling the metal scene ever since. Their mission was clear from the start: combine death metal grit with the furious intensity of thrash. Following a pair of closely obsessed-over EPs (FIN, 2017; EXCITE 2020) and tearing up stages left and right, they hit a tipping point in 2019 that saw them ramping up the engine, performing all over Hungary and elsewhere in Europe. The debut album - On The Line Of Nothing And Something - was released in 2022, an immersive experience full of powerful and melodic thrash moments and four music videos (for further interaction).

The lineup is solid:
Imre Török – Vocals, Guitar
András Székely – Lead Guitar
Gyula Tábori – Bass Guitar
Gergely Győri - Drums
