Dragsholm - "The Wandering Relic"

What's New: Dragsholm

Dragsholm Unleashes "The Wandering Relic": A Black Metal Tempest Brewed in New Jersey’s Shadows

Hell’s bells, folks—Dragsholm just dropped a sonic grenade. Their new single, “The Wandering Relic”, isn’t just music; it’s a haunted freight train barreling through your eardrums. Recorded at Heathen Heart Studios (where else would you forge such a beast?), this track stitches black metal’s icy tremolo riffs to death metal’s guttural growls. Imagine Morbid Angel and Mayhem jamming in a graveyard at midnight. Yeah, that kind of vibe.

Born in 2017 as Vlad Rituals’ one-man obsession, Dragsholm morphed into a full-fledged quartet by 2022. Now, Vlad (guitar, bass, vocals), Brendan Schleim Daly (guitar), G.B. (drums), and the ominously named M.T. Destroyer (guitar) conjure chaos that’s as literary as it is loud. Gothic tales seep into their lyrics—think Poe with blast beats.

This track’s a masterclass in controlled fury. The production? Razor-sharp but still raw, like a dagger dipped in honey. And that eerie melody lurking beneath the brutality? Chef’s kiss.
Ready to brave the storm?

(Psst…leave a windo open after listening. You’ll need the fresh air.)
