New Release: Façade
Façade - "Radiant": Doom That Hits Hard… and Glows, a Bit

Façade, post-doom heavyweights from Dordrecht, finally crawled back into the light. It’s been what, since The Eternal Dance in 2019? Long time, no gloom. But June 1st, 2025, they dropped Radiant, and damn… it’s only two tracks, but they land like falling towers.
The title track? Big, slow, and haunted. Not just sad-doom: it’s textured, thick, and atmospheric as hell. Then you’ve got “Veil of Deceit”, reworked and jacked. Same bones, but now it’s been doing pushups in the dark. You recognize it, but it’s got new scars. And a lot more muscle.
Vocalist Ben de Graaff put it this way: “We went full mad scientist with textures.” And you hear it. The production’s wild, alive. Big shout to producer Jonathan Merrelaar (Red Pack), who apparently is “a studio wizard.” Honestly? No lie detected.
Line-up news: Conrad Stroebel left (no bad blood, just life), so they’re running with two guitars now. But what really fills the gaps? Synths and weird FX flying in like ghost cavalry. The sound is massive, but there’s something close about it too. Like doom at arm’s length.
Live shows are brewing. Full-length album’s in the oven for late 2025. If this EP’s just the appetizer, the main course might crush us all.
If you like your doom big, bold, and with some actual soul, give Radiant a spin. Or better: grab that digipack while it still exists. These things vanish faster than beer at a fest.
