Visitant - "FODDER"

What's New: Visitant

Visitant's "FODDER" Drops Like a Hammer to the Soul – And It’s Glorious!

Whoa, metalheads! Buckle up ’cause Visitant just unleashed their bone-crushing video for “FODDER” and holy hell, it’s a ride. Fresh off features at Metal Injection, this Florida/Massachusetts squad ain’t messing around. Dark? Visceral? Brutally melodic? Damn right. Imagine Gojira meets Opeth in a haunted forest, and you’re halfway there.

Formed by longtime pals Taylor Tidwell (guitar) and powerhouse vocalist Chelsea Marrow (of Voraath, Doom Eternal fame), these guys blend death metal’s raw grit with eerie, blackened vibes. Rounding out the lineup? Anthony Lusk-Simone (drums/orchestration) and Kilian Duarte (bass), veterans from Abiotic and Scale the Summit. Together, they’re crafting soundscapes so cinematic, you’ll swear you’re in a horror flick.

The video? A gut-punch of grief and resurrection. Chelsea spilled: "I dreamed I defied my ancestors to revive a friend… and everything went wrong." Talk about chills! Ritualistic, eerie, and dripping with emotion, it’s like her subconscious threw up a nightmare we can’t look away from. Musically? Feral screams, dissonant riffs, and rhythms that’ll pummel you senseless.

Their album Rubidium drops August 23 via Exitus Stratagem Records. Pre-save now or regret it later:

Man, I’ve seen bands try this fusion before, but Visitant? They own it. Chelsea’s vocals aren’t just fierce, they’re storytelling magic. The video’s raw intimacy hooked me, like peeking into someone’s darkest diary page. If Rubidium’s all like this? We’re in for a genre-bending masterclass. Don’t sleep on ’em: hit play, crank it loud, and let the chaos in. 🤘
