Evocatus - "Inevitable Death": A Melodic Death March from Down Under

Get ready to feel the heat. Evocatus , one of Australia’s most ferocious underground acts, just signed with Wormholedeath for the global release of their new album Inevitable Death , dropping on August 29, 2025 . And let me tell you, this one is a beast.

Emerging from the scorched lands of New South Wales like some kind of death metal phoenix, these five warriors bring it all: thrash, folk, symphonic swells, and riffs that could split your skull in two. Their last album, Path to Tartarus (2020), was just the beginning. Now they’re back with an epic, war-torn masterpiece that screams fate, myth, and battlefields.

Produced by Ryan Huthnance at Emissary Studios, Inevitable Death is everything you’d want from a band that’s been sharpening its blades for years. If you dig Kreator’s chaos, Amon Amarth’s saga, or Machine Head’s punch, you’ll find your next obsession here, but with a sound that’s purely Evocatus: big, bold, and brutal.

The band says it best:
“INEVITABLE DEATH is the culmination of five years of blood, sweat, and beers.”
And Carlo Bellotti from Wormholedeath? He calls it a “bold and singular statement” full of “high maturity and intensity”, basically, it’s the real deal.

The first taste of the storm is the single “In Graves Unknown” . Watch the video here:

It’s a journey through time, death, and glory. So grab your sword, raise your horns, and get ready to march into the inferno.

EVOCATUS line-up:
Nich Shields – Vocals
Vaughan Jones – Guitars
Callan Douchkov – Guitars
Brad Delforce – Bass

Honestly, I can’t wait. Bands like this remind us why we fell in love with metal in the first place. It’s raw, it’s real, and it hits harder than a lightning strike.

So go listen, go rage, and remember: Inevitable Death doesn’t come quietly.
