Mano de Piedra - Tales From The Burnt House : When the Past Won’t Let You Sleep

Let’s talk about Mano de Piedra , the Spanish post-metal project that doesn’t just play music: they build soundscapes, stories, and emotional storms. Formed in 2016 by ex-members of Galician bands like Supa Scoopa , Sem Resposta , and Carcomedhi , they’ve been cooking up something heavy and haunting for years.
Their new album Tales From The Burnt House was released back on April 25 ; yes, it’s already out and well worth your time. Think stoner vibes, hardcore grit, crusty textures, and a dash of hard rock soul, all woven into a slow-burning, atmospheric beast that makes you feel like you’re walking through smoke and memory at the same time.
Lyrically? It’s deep stuff. Loss, guilt, confronting what you left behind: it all comes out in the riffs and reverb. This isn’t background noise. It’s a mirror. And if you’ve ever had to face your past, this one hits like a punch to the chest.
Produced by Iago Lorenzo and mastered by Robin Schmidt , the sound is thick, textured, and absolutely dripping with emotion. Every track feels like a chapter in a story you can’t look away from.
If you dig acts like Godspeed You! Black Emperor , Earth , or even Cult of Luna , but with a Galician twist and a little more dirt under the nails, then this one’s for you.
Once you start listening to Mano de Piedra , it’s not easy to stop.

Honestly, I love when bands take time to grow instead of chasing trends. Mano de Piedra didn’t rush. They let the fire burn, and what came out was real. Heavy. Honest.
