SELIAS Unleash “Bullets”: A Death Metal Haymaker with a Side of Existential Dread
Canada’s SELIAS aren’t here to play nice. Their new single “Bullets” lands like a sledgehammer wrapped in barbed wire: no frills, no mercy, just that sweet spot where melodeath meets cinematic brutality. Think In Flames’s groove meets Rammstein’s theatrical punch, but with a knife twist of modern urgency. SELIAS could’ve phoned in another “brutal” single and called it a day. Instead, “Bullets” feels like a statement: this is death metal with a pulse. The production’s sharp, the hooks are there, and, refreshingly, there’s not a whiff of the “revolutionary” hype that clogs up the genre. Just a band doing what they do best, better.
Now, about that album title… KILLKARMA? Either it’s a nod to the cyclic violence in their lyrics, or they just really love Mortal Kombat. Either way, we’re listening.
