Ireland’s Piano Black have finally dropped their debut album, The Piper At the Gates of Dawn, and holy hell… this isn’t just symphonic metal. It’s a full-on cinematic ride that grabs you by the throat.

Le groupe irlandais Piano Black vient enfin de lâcher leur premier album, The Piper At the Gates of Dawn, et putain de merde… ce n’est pas juste du metal symphonique. C’est un voyage cinématographique envoûtant qui vous attrape à la gorge.

Mario Stojčić on guitar and composition orchestrates every moment like a mad conductor, fusing dark, sweeping orchestration, choral layers, and heavy modern riffs into something that’s both crushing and haunting. Ana Marija Dundović’s vocals? They slice through the chaos like a siren from another world. And the rhythm section... Paul Piszewski on bass and John Howell on drums: locks in tight, hypnotic, punishing… seriously, it hits you in places you didn’t know could feel anything.

We got a taste with Higher back in August, and it already proved these guys don’t fuck around. But the full album? Man… it completely blows the doors off. From the eerie beauty of All Men Dream to the apocalyptic blast of The Man Who Killed God, every track drags you somewhere else, somewhere epic. And thanks to Seeb (Orden Ogan / Angus McSix) handling mix and master, the production gleams like a blade in the dark.

On a eu un avant-goût avec Higher en août, et ça prouvait déjà que ces gars ne déconnent pas. Mais l’album complet ? Putain… il fracasse complètement la porte. De la beauté inquiétante d’All Men Dream à l’explosion apocalyptique de The Man Who Killed God, chaque morceau vous traîne ailleurs, quelque part d’épique. Et grâce à Seeb (Orden Ogan / Angus McSix) qui s’est occupé du mixage et du mastering, la production brille comme une lame dans l’obscurité.
