Catalysis just dropped “Tremors” and it doesn’t politely introduce itself. It kicks the door. Groove-heavy, thrash-leaning, metalcore edges biting everywhere. Dundee doesn’t mess around apparently. This is the first taste of a new EP coming in 2026 and honestly, if this is the warm-up? Damn.

Catalysis vient de sortir "Tremors" et ça ne se présente pas poliment. Ça envoie la porte. Beaucoup de groove, une orientation thrash, des bords metalcore qui mordent partout. Dundee ne plaisante apparemment pas. C’est la première gorgée d’un nouvel EP qui arrive en 2026 et honnêtement, si c’est juste un échauffement ? Putain.

Riffs come in thick and blunt, that kind of weight that makes your neck tense before you even start moving. Drums hit hard, not flashy, just relentless. Vocals sit right in the middle: angry but controlled, like they know exactly where the punch should land. Somewhere between Chimaira muscle and Machine Head grit. You know the zone.

Les riffs arrivent épais et brutaux, ce genre de poids qui contracte votre cou avant même que vous commenciez à bouger. La batterie frappe fort, pas clinquante, juste implacable. Les voix sont pile au milieu : en colère mais contrôlées, comme si elles savaient exactement où le coup doit atterrir. Quelque part entre la puissance de Chimaira et l’âpreté de Machine Head. Vous connaissez la zone.

Quick brain drift here, maybe it’s the fatigue, maybe the third coffee... but this track feels built for the pit. Not in a trendy way. In a “lights are low, sweat on the floor, monitors shaking” kind of way. You can tell these guys have done the miles. UK shows, Europe, two albums already behind them. It shows. No overthinking.

Petite dérive mentale ici, peut-être la fatigue, peut-être la troisième tasse de café... mais ce morceau semble construit pour la fosse. Pas d’une manière tendance. D’une manière "lumières basses, sueur sur le sol, moniteurs qui tremblent". On sent que ces gars ont fait les kilomètres. Des concerts au Royaume-Uni, en Europe, deux albums déjà derrière eux. Ça se voit. Pas de prise de tête.

Production’s tight but not sterile. Recorded across Open Eyes Productions and Cadaver Studios, mixed/mastered by Hans Peter Solen (same guy behind Betrayer), and it keeps that raw edge intact. Important detail. Very important.

“Tremors” doesn’t reinvent metal. It doesn’t need to.

It reminds you why heavy music still works when it’s played with conviction and zero bullshit.

Ça vous rappelle pourquoi la musique lourde fonctionne encore quand elle est jouée avec conviction et zéro connerie.

New EP in 2026. Keep an eye on that. Or better, keep an ear.
