Alright. Coffee's gone cold, speakers are screaming, and this one smells like sweat and concrete walls.

Ok. Le café est froid, les enceintes hurlent, et celui-là sent la sueur et les murs en béton.

South Of Hell. Old-school Death Metal at the core, but with Thrash elbows and Black Metal shadows creeping in when you don't expect it. Hypocrisy? Deicide? Suffocation? Yeah, sure. But they don't copy, they bite.

South Of Hell. Du Death Metal old-school dans l'âme, mais avec des coups de coude du Thrash et des ombres du Black Metal qui se faufilent quand tu t'y attends pas. Hypocrisy ? Deicide ? Suffocation ? Ouais, carrément. Mais ils copient pas, ils mordent.

Formed back in the 2000s by three childhood friends (that matters, trust me), first demo in 2006, debut album Rising Of Hate finally dropped in 2015. No rush. No hype bullshit. Just time, riffs, and scars. You can hear it. This isn't shiny death metal for playlists, this is worked-in, lived-in, slightly ugly in a good way.

Formés dans les années 2000 par trois potes d'enfance (ça compte, crois-moi), première démo en 2006, premier album "Rising Of Hate" enfin lâché en 2015. Pas de précipitation. Pas de hype de merde. Juste du temps, des riffs, et des cicatrices. Tu l'entends. C'est pas du death metal brillant pour les playlists, c'est rodé, vécu, un peu moche dans le bon sens du terme.

The new record lands January 30th, 2026, and it feels like the band tightening the screws on what they already are. Old-school death metal backbone, thrash speed bursts, blackened atmospheres hovering around the edges. Sometimes it's straight to the throat. Sometimes it drags you through the dirt first. I like that. Keeps you awake.

Le nouvel album atterrit le 30 janvier 2026, et on dirait que le groupe resserre les boulons sur ce qu'ils sont déjà. Colonne vertébrale en death metal old-school, rafales de vitesse thrash, ambiances blackened qui planent aux frontières. Parfois, c'est direct à la gorge. Parfois, ça te traîne d'abord dans la poussière. J'aime ça. Ça te garde éveillé.

Line-up's solid, locked in, no weak link vibes. Guitars chew, drums don't blink, vocals sound like they've seen things. Bad things. You know that dry, metallic taste in the mouth after a brutal track? Yeah, that.

La formation est solide, verrouillée, pas de vibe de maillon faible. Les guitares mâchent, la batterie ne cligne pas des yeux, les voix ont l'air d'avoir vu des choses. Des mauvaises choses. Tu connais ce goût sec et métallique dans la bouche après un morceau brutal ? Ouais, ça.
