VANISHMENT just dropped their second full-length “And Now We Die” on January 23, 2026 and yeah, this one hits like a clenched fist. Heavy/Thrash, no gimmicks, no shiny bullshit. Hard’n’fast riffs slam straight into slow’n’heavy sections that crush your spine a little. Harmony still there. Groove too. Because they know what they’re doing. Too well maybe.

VANISHMENT vient de sortir leur deuxième album complet "And Now We Die" le 23 janvier 2026 et ouais, celui-ci frappe comme un poing serré. Heavy/Thrash, pas de gadgets, pas de conneries clinquantes. Des riffs durs et rapides s’abattent directement sur des sections lentes et lourdes qui écrasent un peu votre colonne vertébrale. L’harmonie est toujours là. Le groove aussi. Parce qu’ils savent ce qu’ils font. Trop bien peut-être.

You can hear the bloodline right away, Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth, Priest, but filtered through years of sweat, busted vans, and bands like Himsa, Lair Of The Minotaur, Trial, Earthen Grave… experience talking. DIY spirit intact. Primal edge still sharp. Songs that wanna be played loud. Live. Preferably too close to the stage.

On entend tout de suite la lignée : Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth, Priest, mais filtrée à travers des années de sueur, de vans cassés, et des groupes comme Himsa, Lair Of The Minotaur, Trial, Earthen Grave… l’expérience qui parle. Esprit DIY intact. Arête primale toujours tranchante. Des chansons qui veulent être jouées fort. En live. De préférence trop près de la scène.

Recorded with Nicholas Wilbur (Sumac, Mamiffer), mixed by their own drummer (yeah) and mastered by Alan Douches. It sounds thick. Real thick. Not polished to death, just… dangerous. The kind of record you put on and suddenly the room feels smaller. I like that. A lot.

Enregistré avec Nicholas Wilbur (Sumac, Mamiffer), mixé par leur propre batteur (ouais) et masterisé par Alan Douches. Ça sonne épais. Vraiment épais. Pas surpoli à mort, juste… dangereux. Le genre de disque que vous mettez et soudain la pièce semble plus petite. J’aime ça. Beaucoup.

Orders are up: CD, green vinyl, and only 100 cassettes because why not.
