AUSTRIAN MELODIC DEATH/THRASH THAT DELIVERS AN ELECTRIC JOLT

The night has fully settled in, and I can still feel the vibration of those Fearancy riffs humming in my forearms after pushing the volume a bit too far. These Austrians from Hartberg just dropped "Renegade of Death" and... well... it's exactly the kind of electric jolt I needed to wrap up the evening.

La nuit est complètement tombée, et je sens encore la vibration des riffs de Fearancy vibrer dans mes avant-bras après avoir poussé le volume un peu trop loin. Ces Autrichiens de Hartberg viennent de sortir « Renegade of Death » et… eh bien… c'est exactement le genre de décharge électrique dont j'avais besoin pour finir la soirée.

The band describes their sound as a meeting point between old-school thrash speed and more modern melodic sensibilities. On this track, that balance is striking. You get hit with sharp, aggressive riffs that instantly make you want to move, but there's this melodic thread underneath that hooks your ear and refuses to let go.

Le groupe décrit son son comme un point de rencontre entre la vitesse du thrash old-school et des sensibilités mélodiques plus modernes. Sur ce morceau, cet équilibre est frappant. Tu te fais percuter par des riffs aiguisés et agressifs qui te donnent instantanément envie de bouger, mais il y a ce fil mélodique en dessous qui accroche ton oreille et refuse de lâcher prise.

The guys wanted something fast and heavy that matched the "gritty" reality of their lyrics, and you can tell they really focused on that direct impact. The lyric video reinforces that dark, defiant mood without overcomplicating things, letting the music do the heavy lifting. It's solid, it's tight, and it proves the Austrian underground still has some serious ammunition in reserve for 2026. Les gars voulaient quelque chose de rapide et de lourd qui corresponde à la réalité « granuleuse » de leurs paroles, et on sent qu'ils se sont vraiment concentrés sur cet impact direct. Le lyric video renforce cette humeur sombre et provocante sans trop compliquer les choses, laissant la musique faire le gros du travail. C'est solide, serré, et ça prouve que l'underground autrichien a encore de sérieuses munitions en réserve pour 2026.
