This French crew has been grinding since 2013, and honestly, they're the literal definition of "doing it for the music." No marketing fluff, no social media obsession, just four guys in a room making a hell of a noise. Their debut full-length, Deaf Gods, finally hit the airwaves on March 27th via Octopus Rising, and it's a masterclass in heavy, honest groove.

Dix ans de riffs, de changements de line‑up et de bières tièdes : c'est à peu près l'ADN de RedRedRed. Ce groupe français tourne depuis 2013, et honnêtement, ils sont la définition même du « faire de la musique pour la musique ». Pas de flan marketing, pas d'obsession des réseaux sociaux, juste quatre mecs dans une pièce à faire un bruit d'enfer. Leur premier album, Deaf Gods, est enfin sorti le 27 mars via Octopus Rising, et c'est une masterclass de groove lourd et honnête.

Si vous aimez ce carrefour où le grain de Clutch rencontre le poids massif de Mastodon ou Down, vous allez être chez vous. C'est 45 minutes d'énergie pure et sans compromis en huit morceaux. Il y a une brutalité dans le son qu'on trouve rarement aujourd'hui ; ça sonne comme un groupe qui joue vraiment ensemble, poussant ses amplis à la limite.

They've been through four drummers and two guitarists to get here, but the core spirit hasn't budged. From their first single back in 2015 to the local bar gigs and small festivals, RedRedRed has always moved at their own pace: slowly, but genuinely. Frédéric, Enguerran, François, and Romain have put a decade of rehearsal room sweat into these songs, and you can hear every bit of it in the dirty, stoner-infused riffs. Ils ont connu quatre batteurs et deux guitaristes pour en arriver là, mais l'esprit central n'a pas bougé. De leur premier single en 2015 aux concerts dans les bars locaux et les petits festivals, RedRedRed a toujours avancé à son rythme : lentement, mais sincèrement. Frédéric, Enguerran, François et Romain ont mis une décennie de sueur de répétition dans ces chansons, et on l'entend dans chaque riff sale et imprégné de stoner.

It's refreshing to hear a band that just doesn't care about the "business" side of things. They play because they have to, and Deaf Gods is the result of that obsession.
