LONDON HEAVY METAL UNIT DELIVERS A BOLD, INSTRUMENTAL DEBUT EP
London heavy metal unit Electric Banshee have released their debut EP, Spiritual Overdrive. Recorded at Electryfier Studios and mixed/mastered by Piero Rigo, the four‑track release serves as the first studio output for the project founded in 2025 by José Rivera. Going 100% instrumental on a debut heavy metal EP centered around witchcraft and cosmic horror is a bold move. Without a vocalist to carry the narrative, guitar‑driven projects often risk turning into endless technical flexing, but Electric Banshee avoids that trap altogether. The lead guitars act as the actual vocal line here, steering the tracks with sharp riffs, spacious atmospheric passages, and solos that genuinely push the songs forward rather than just showcasing speed.

Le mix de Piero Rigo garde la production claire et percutante plutôt que de se cacher derrière un voile rétro flou. C'est un premier opus étonnamment serré et énergique qui prouve que le groupe n'a pas besoin d'un chanteur pour délivrer un punch atmosphérique solide.
