I didn't expect the chorus to hit as hard as it does, especially after that restrained opening. Dylan Suierveld's drumming keeps the pace tight, while Alon Mei‑Tal's lead guitar work adds sharp accents that match the vocal tension. I was curious to see how Brandon Friesen's polished production would hold up alongside their heavier early EP material, but the song simply doesn't need huge orchestral fireworks to work. It's a grounded, memorable track that relies on sharp songwriting and a solid hook.
« The Blank Page » se distingue comme leur effort le plus abouti à ce jour.
