What's New: Ancient Settlers Announce New European Tour, New EP "Transition" Out May 2nd!

ANCIENT SETTLERS, led by their new Frontwoman Argen Death, are set to release their latest EP "Transition" on May 2nd. The Modern Melodic Death Metal band collaborated with Dalay Tarda from Rise To Fall, recorded at Chromaticity Studios, and will release the EP in both digital and physical formats via Crusader Recorda/Golden Robot Records. The album was mixed and mastered by Pedro Monge and the art-cover was designed by Jon Toussas. The EP features four songs and promises to be a brutal attack. The band has also released a video for their single 'A New World Order' (Ft. Dalay Tarda) and an earlier release 'Mihi Nomen Est Ira' (Ft. "Transition" is the latest saga of the settlers' army, a reflection of the current state of our species. The band continues their conceptual journey by exploring the emotional behavior of society through four new emotionally charged and complex songs, while still delivering their signature intense melodies and catchy guitar riffs. This EP marks the beginning of a new phase in the band's musical evolution.

About:

Ancient Settlers formed in 2020 and consists of Rex Chiesa, Herman Riera, Miguel Herrera, Agustin Martinez, and Argen Death. The band aims to push the boundaries of modern melodic death metal with their use of synths, keyboards, and various sounds and rhythms to create their unique sound. Their lyrics draw inspiration from recent tragedies in Western society.

In January 2021, the band released their debut single "Diamond Eyes" digitally and on a limited edition 7' vinyl, followed by their debut EP "Autumnus" in February of the same year. Both albums were produced in Portugal, France, Spain, and the US by Daniel Cardoso and art and design by Gus Sazes.

In May 2021, they signed with Crusader Records to release their first full-length album produced by Fredrik Nordstrom. They also signed a contract with Dronicon Films to release an animated science fiction saga, with the first two chapters already presented. In the summer of 2021, they toured across Spain, Portugal, and France.

In April 2022, they released their album "Our Last Eclipse - The Settlers Saga Pt. 1," which received great reviews from specialized metal press worldwide. The band embarked on their second European tour in 2022, performing 20 concerts and sharing the stage with bands like Infected Rain and Lutharo.

Currently, they are promoting their new EP "Transition," produced by Pedro Monge and designed by Jon Toussas. They have also confirmed their 3rd European tour, which will take them to Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic with more than 20 concerts.
