Finnish hard rockers Highway Queen have released a single "Walls Are Burned" along with its official music video on June 6, 2021. According to guitarist Teemu Kääriäinen, the song is about the moment when "you realize that everything in your life has broken in pieces." The verses and riffs have a progressive rock feel, and the powerful bridge leads into a straightforward heavy metal chorus and solo.
The single is available to listen to on YouTube, Bandcamp, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, and Apple Music. The Lahti-based band, formed in 2019 by singer Virpi Kääriäinen, guitarist Teemu Kääriäinen, and drummer Henri Backman, released four singles in 2020 before bassist Petri Orava joined the group. Highway Queen prides themselves on crafting catchy riffs and melodies that draw influences from various genres of rock and heavy metal.
Their latest album, "Bitter Soul", was released on December 16th, 2022 via Rockshots Records.
