KINGS WINTER - Edge Of Existence

It's released in 2021:

Remember, it was May 1, 2021, and the German metal band Kings Winter was making news with their album "Edge Of Existence".

The album is a departure from their debut EP "Forging The Cataclysm" and sees the band evolving their sound with heavier guitar riffs and less emphasis on keyboards, resulting in a more melodic and powerful sound.

Frontwoman Jule Dahs's multi-layered vocals add depth to the album, showcasing her range from clean vocals to powerful rock vocals with occasional growls. The album's title was inspired by a quote by Michael Crichton, which Tobias, the band's guitarist, stumbled upon at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Living systems are never in equilibrium. They are inherently unstable. They may seem stable, but they’re not. Everything is moving and changing. In a sense, everything is on the edge of collapse." Tobias explains the relevance of the quote to the current situation and how one event, no matter how small, can have global consequences.

If you're a fan of melodic heavy metal with powerful guitar riffs and multi-layered vocals, then "Edge Of Existence" by Kings Winter is a must-listen. The album is available in digital and CD format, and you can check out their music on their social media channels. Who knows, maybe you'll get to experience their explosive live show soon.
