The Birth of EXIT
Once upon a time, after finishing high school in the summer of '95, Beni Sax and the Haller brothers came together to form a band called EXIT. They were joined by Andy Bieri in 2002 after their first drummer left. These talented musicians constantly honed their skills, resulting in an intense, powerful, and aggressive sound. They drew inspiration not only from old school metal bands but also from thrash metal and grindcore. Over the years, EXIT has become a prominent figure in the Swiss metal scene, producing five albums that have left a lasting impact.
A Force to Be Reckoned With
EXIT's unwavering passion for performing live shows has earned them a reputation as a formidable and captivating band. They have rocked stages in Switzerland, France, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Russia, leaving audiences in awe. Sharing the stage with various well-known artists has only solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with.
Overcoming Challenges
In 2020 and 2021, EXIT faced a major setback due to medical reasons. Vocalist and guitarist Beni had to skip almost every show while he focused on his recovery. On top of that, Steve decided to leave the band in spring 2022. However, luck was on their side as they quickly found a fantastic replacement in their longtime friend and guitar builder, Urs Kuratle. With a fully recovered Beni and a new lineup, EXIT is ready to make a triumphant comeback!
