BLOOD FEAST's "Infinite Evolution": A Thrash Metal Odyssey!

BLOOD FEAST is back with a vengeance, unleashing their monstrous new album, Infinite Evolution. This is their fourth full-length record, and it’s a scorching reminder that these thrash pioneers still reign supreme in the underground scene. If you’ve been thrashing along since their ‘Unholy Trinity’ days—Kill For Pleasure (1987), Face Fate (1988), and Chopping Block Blues (1990)—or if you hopped on the wagon during their 2017 comeback, The Future State Of Wicked, you’re in for one wild ride. The speed, the brutality, the chaotic twists that made BLOOD FEAST a thrash institution? Yeah, it’s all here—and it hits like a wrecking ball to the face!

Bio:
Let’s rewind to where it all began. BLOOD FEAST emerged from the shadows in 1985, originally under the name Blood Lust, founded by the thrash mastermind Adam Tranquilli. Alongside Gary Markowich (vocals), Kevin Kuzma (drums), and Lou Starita (bass), they tore through the underground with their The Suicidal Missions demo. Shortly after Michael Basden joined the ranks on guitar, BLOOD FEAST caught the eye of New Renaissance Records—and the thrash world was never the same.

Their debut album Kill For Pleasure (1987) and the follow-up EP Face Fate (1988) sent shockwaves through the scene, culminating in tours with thrash legends like DEATH ANGEL. After Tranquilli’s departure, they crafted Chopping Block Blues (1990), but the band faded out shortly after.

Fast forward to 1999, the original lineup reunited for a one-off show at NJ's March Metal Meltdown. That spark led to a proper revival in 2007 with new blood in the form of Tom Lorenzo and Chris Natalini, and soon they were back in action, playing festivals like Headbangers Open Air in Germany. Momentum built, and after a decade of anticipation, 2017’s The Future State Of Wicked brought them roaring back into the thrash limelight.

But BLOOD FEAST wasn’t done evolving. In 2023, Tranquilli took over lead vocals, reshaping the lineup and penning the next chapter of the band’s savage history: Infinite Evolution. After all these years, the band’s thrash pedigree remains intact, but they’ve injected it with fresh fury, ready to shred eardrums across the globe.

Pandemic disruptions be damned! After battling through lineup changes and global chaos, BLOOD FEAST emerged stronger, with Adam Kieffer now crushing it on drums and Dave Kramer locking in on bass. With this new lineup, Infinite Evolution was born—an album that doesn’t just rest on the band’s legendary history but pushes their sound forward with inventive brutality. Expect speed, precision, and riffs sharp enough to slice through steel.

Whether you’re headbanging to “Outbreak” or getting shredded by deep cuts, Infinite Evolution proves that BLOOD FEAST is far from done wreaking havoc. From their classic roots to their modern-day thrash assault, this album has something for die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
