The afternoon light is just starting to fade, but my head is currently spinning in a completely different direction. I've been sitting with the new video from Rimmar, and... uh... it's left me with this strange, restless buzzing in my fingertips. It's the kind of music that makes the air in the room feel physically charged.

Je suis resté avec la nouvelle vidéo de Rimmar, et… euh… ça m'a laissé avec ce bourdonnement étrange et agité dans le bout des doigts. C'est le genre de musique qui donne à l'air de la pièce une sensation de charge électrique.

Italian composer Marco Rinaldi has been building this vision for years, and "These Ruins" is the latest chapter from his project's album, Raises. This isn't your standard garage band setup; it's a meticulously crafted one-man endeavor where Rinaldi handles the writing and arrangements, blending progressive weight with industrial grit and synth textures.

Le compositeur italien Marco Rinaldi construit cette vision depuis des années, et « These Ruins » est le dernier chapitre de l'album de son projet, Raises. Ce n'est pas une configuration standard de groupe de garage ; c'est une entreprise solo méticuleusement élaborée où Rinaldi gère l'écriture et les arrangements, mélangeant le poids progressif avec le grain industriel et les textures synthétiques.

The track itself feels like a tug-of-war. While the earlier singles were about rising and transformation, this one digs into the sensation of being held back, those invisible forces that keep us pinned down. You can actually feel that inner tension in the rhythmic structures. Having Marco "Biuller" Bertuccioli on vocals was a masterstroke here; his performance has this raw, expressive edge that cuts right through the electronic layers, making the struggle feel very real.

Le morceau lui-même ressemble à un bras de fer. Alors que les premiers singles parlaient d'ascension et de transformation, celui-ci creuse la sensation d'être retenu, ces forces invisibles qui nous maintiennent au sol. On sent vraiment cette tension intérieure dans les structures rythmiques. Avoir Marco « Biuller » Bertuccioli au chant était un coup de maître ; sa performance a ce tranchant brut et expressif qui traverse les couches électroniques, rendant la lutte très réelle.

Rinaldi's approach is fascinating because he treats the lyrics as a "servant" to the music. He starts with the riff, the bone-deep pulse of the song, and builds the world around it. It's an eclectic mix that sits somewhere between the experimental mind of Devin Townsend and the cold, driving energy of Nine Inch Nails. It's modern, it's polished, and it's unapologetically ambitious. L'approche de Rinaldi est fascinante car il traite les paroles comme une « servante » de la musique. Il part du riff, la pulsion viscérale de la chanson, et construit le monde autour. C'est un mélange éclectique qui se situe quelque part entre l'esprit expérimental de Devin Townsend et l'énergie froide et motrice de Nine Inch Nails. C'est moderne, poli et ambitieux sans complexe.
